Guide to free Fourth of July firework shows on Long Island

If you're looking for a way to celebrate America's birthday that won't be so taxing to your wallet, there will be a bunch of free firework shows this weekend on Long Island.

Fireworks are often the highlight of a great Fourth of July weekend.

If you're looking for a way to celebrate America's birthday that won't be so taxing to your wallet, there will be a bunch of free firework shows this weekend on Long Island.

Nassau County will have free music and fireworks at Eisenhower Park on Thursday, July 3.

On July 4, Glen Cove is hosting its free concert and fireworks show at Morgan Memorial Park.

In Suffolk County, the Town of Brookhaven is holding its free concert and fireworks spectacular at Bald Hill in Farmingville on July 4.

On the East End, there is the free stars over Montauk Fourth of July fireworks.

The Greenport Fire Department will have its fireworks display on July 2 and July 5.

There is also the Jovia Financial Credit Union Fireworks Spectacular at Jones Beach on the Fourth of July.

Parking is $10 a car.

The City of Long Beach and the Town of Oyster Bay will also have free fireworks displays later in July, including at John J. Burns Town Park in Massapequa on July 8. The City of Long Beach Fireworks Display will take place Friday on July 11.
