Brisket Smash Burgers with Special Sauce
INGREDIENTS
The Special Sauce
· 3 tbs. mayonnaise
· 2 tbs. yellow mustard
· ¼ cup sweet relish (drained)
· 1 tbs white vinegar
· 1 tsp paprika
· 1 tsp garlic powder
· 1 tsp. onion powder
1. Place all ingredients into a bowl, mix until all are incorporated well and set aside.
Brisket Smash Burgers with Special Sauce
· 4 4 oz. brisket sliders
· 3 seeded burger buns
· 1 cup shredded lettuce
· 4 slices of yellow American cheese
· ¼ cup minced white onion
· 12 pickle chips
· 1 cup special sauce
· 1tbs butter
DIRECTIONS
- Place one of the three burger buns on a cutting board and remove the top portion of the top part of the bun and the bottom portion of the bottom part of the bun and set aside.
- Using a hot flat skillet melt butter, toast the buns and set aside.
- Place the sliders on the hot skillet and press down using a meat press or spatula.
- Cook until a crust forms on the bottom of the burger and flip.
- Once burgers are done add the cheese to the top of the burgers and begin to build.
- Build your burgers by placing the bottom part of the bread onto a plate, add special sauce add onion, add one burger patty, add special sauce add three pickles, add lettuce, add the cut portion of the bread, add special sauce, add onion, add one burger patty, add special sauce add three pickles, add lettuce and top with the top part of the bread.
- Repeat this process to build the second burger.
