A Westbury
senior at St. Mary's High School has created a way to find solutions to some of
the world's problems.
The Solution Project is a nonprofit
the student founded. It’s a student-run
organization dedicated to solving humanitarian crisis and advocation for mental
health awareness.
Founder Diana Archibong says it is to provide the platform the resources,
the community, and the unity necessary to empower young people for global
change.
The project has dedicated themselves to the Yemen crisis.
So far,
they have raised of $2,600 for UNISEF’s
lifesaving aid in Yemen.
The
organization is also raising money for Ukraine aid.
The
organization says they are on an ambassador initiative to try to establish
chapters of the Solution Project at schools across Long Island.
