One Long Island town went above and beyond to honor the United States of America on the Fourth of July.

West Hempstead residents who live on and near Marlborough Road spent the day painting a 15-foot-long work of art on a fence.

The painting of Long Island, the country and other items were divided up into sections and painted red, white or blue.
