At least one person was injured Saturday during a house fire in East Rockaway, according to officials.

Authorities say it happened just after 4 p.m. on 3rd Avenue. The home sustained considerable damage.

The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening. Officials believe the cause of the fire was accidental.
