The Wantagh Fire Department is collecting donations for the victims of the fatal Bronx fire.

Donation boxes have been placed outside firehouses to collect essential items like children's clothes and diapers.

Fire officials say the response from the community has been huge and that they have had to empty the boxes several times over the past two days.

The fire department will continue to run the drive until next Friday.
