Police arrested an entire Valley Stream family after the mother served alcohol at a party she threw for her teenage children.
Shanta Subdhan hosted a party in her Wyngate Drive West home and allowed her 17-year-old children to invite the entire student body of a local high school.
When the party got out of control, neighbors called the police.
Officers who arrived at the house discovered that beer, wine, rum and vodka were served to more than 150 under-aged guests.
According to police, one 17-year- old girl was so drunk, she was throwing up and couldn't even stand.
Police say Subdhan admitted to hosting the party and was charged with violating Nassau's social host law, which makes parents responsible if they help or allow underage drinking in their homes.
Neighbors say it was bound to happen sooner or later because it is not the first time the Subdhans throw a party, and it is not the first time police pays them a visit.
Subdhan was also arrested in 2005 for leaving the three small children she was babysitting alone in her home to pick up another child from school.
