A federal trial began Tuesday in the case of a man who allegedly forced several women into sex trafficking and prostitution at a college campus in Yonkers.
Lawrence Ray, 62, allegedly moved into his daughter’s dorm room at Sarah Lawrence College back in 2010.
From then on, prosecutors say he ran a prostitution ring that racked in over $1.7 million in just two years.
His victims included a group of former Sarah Lawrence College students.
College officials have said they did not know what was going on at the time.
