Nearly 1 million people packed Times Square on Wednesday night to usher in 2015 and watch the ball drop.
Standing at 12 feet tall, the ball was made of 2,700 Waterford Crystal triangles and 32,000 LED lights.
Long Island's own Idina Menzel was among several artists that performed on ABC's "New Year's Rockin' Eve," hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
Nearly 200 workers took to the streets after the ball dropped to make sure 2015 starts out with a clean sweep.
