Suffolk County police are investigating an accident in Brentwood Wednesday that left three people dead.

Police say the accident happened at 6:18 a.m. when a car crashed into a parked tractor-trailer at Suffolk and Nimitz avenues. The victims have been identified as driver, 19-year-old Araceli Carpenter, of East Patchogue; 25-year-old Stephen Nowakowski, of Ronkonkoma and17-year-old Meagan Ferraro, of Islip.

The accident forced the closure of a section of Suffolk Avenue.
