Another noose was found on Long Island Thursday morning.

The noose was found at the Nassau County Department of Public Works Highway Maintenance facility in Hempstead. Department of Public Works Commissioner Ray Ribeiro said one of his employees discovered the noose hanging from a fence. He believes the noose was meant to be found, but doesn?t believe someone was targeted.

The noose at the public works department is the third found in the Town of Hempstead in three weeks. Police do not know if all of the noose incidents are related or if they are copycat cases.
