The New York Red Bulls will host archrivals New York City FC Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7:30 p.m.
"Lights come on, and it's a big show," said Marc de Grandpre, Red Bulls president. "It's going to be the best experience in the New York sporting area that everyone's ever seen."
This will be the 25th regular season edition of the rivalry. The Red Bulls are currently in fourth place in the Eastern Conference and looking forward to qualifying for their 15th consecutive playoffs.
"It just almost brings a playoff vibe to it. Thatbeing said because it's towards the end of the season, there are playoff implications so I would imagine that stadium is going to be rocking and the fans have to bring it," said Luis Robles, legendary Red Bulls goalie.
The Red Bulls expect a packed stadium, so arrive early to enjoy the interactive soccer and entertainment activities on the BULL-evard, which opens at 4 p.m. They want fans to stay late to watch the post-match fireworks show at Red Bull Arena.
This weekend, the Red Bulls are offering a special student pass that allows any student to purchase a ticket and get a free PATH train ride home for only $18.
