The annual “Gains for Brains” event, a lacrosse tournament held in Cold Spring Harbor, raised money for the Making Headway Foundation.

Twenty girls lacrosse teams competed at Cold Spring Harbor Junior Senior High School. The tournament raises money for the Making Headway Foundation – a nonprofit dedicated to helping children with brain and spinal cord tumors.

Over the years, Gains for Brains has raised tens of thousands of dollars, with all the money going straight to the foundation.
