4 brothers help Molloy to historic season
That bond has led to a record-setting 14 win season and the Lions first trip to the East Coast Conference championship game on Saturday.

Five years ago, Owen, Liam, Jake and Noah Taylor had dreams of playing together on the William Floyd High School lacrosse team.
It would've been the first time the brothers were on the same team at any level of lacrosse. But their dreams of family fun were ruined when the COVID pandemic canceled the season.
"We were all kind of bummed," said Liam.
But their dreams of chasing a championship together have been reborn at Molloy University this season where the four brothers are part of the Lions' history making team.
"Nothing beats this. It's great," said Owen as he sat on the bleachers with his brothers one day after practice.
The brothers didn't plan on attending Molloy together. In fact, Noah and Jake went to Wingate University first, but then transferred to Molloy. Liam lasted one semester at Bryant in Rhode Island and then headed to Molloy. Owen is the only one who signed with the Lions out of high school.
All of them have seen playing time this season. Jake and Noah are among the Lions leading scorers, combining for 81 points. Liam, the lone defenseman of the brothers, has played in every game but one.
"When we come out here and we're having fun it makes it more enjoyable," said Jake.
"When our teammates see our bond it creates more of a bond with everyone," said Owen.
That bond has led to a record-setting 14 win season and the Lions first trip to the East Coast Conference championship game on Saturday.
"For me, the personal experience has lived up to and surpassed everything I could have imagined," said Jake.
"I think that would be everyone's goal. Not only to play with family but to win with family," said Noah.
If the Lions win Saturday they'll head to the NCAA Tournament for the first time, extending the brothers time on the field together.
"These are lasting memories for us," said Jake.
