Some strong storms moved through the area overnight, leaving behind a trail of damage in some parts of Long Island.
A tree went down around 4:40 a.m. on Howell Street in Patchogue due to the storms.
PSEG Long Island and police were on the scene. Several power lines were down in the area, but power has since been restored.
One neighbor says they heard a "loud bang" last night when the tree went down.
"The house shook. My daughter came running in and said she was scared. I thought it was lightning or thunder or whatever then I saw the power was out," said Joe Zerella of Patchogue.
There was no damage to any homes and no injuries were reported.
