One person was seriously injured after their car slammed into the Bethpage Fire Department Station 4 on Wednesday.

Police say the car went into the fire station just before 10:30 a.m. at Stewart Avenue and Arumdaun Street in Bethpage.

The collision caused significant damage to the vehicle.

Officials have not yet said what caused the crash.
