The Long Island Monster Gallery in Mineola features all that is the frightening, the macabre and the just downright scary.
Now the gallery is open just in time for All Hallows' Eve.
All the monsters of nightmares and of horror movies are on display.
"It could get a little spooky at times, that's for sure," says the Gallery's Jason Kloos.
The Long Island Monster Gallery is a Halloween tomb full of horror and just about everything scary. From the classic movie monsters to more modern-day ones. Visitor James Jimenez, of Farmingville, says couldn't wait to see them.
"'The Fly' is pretty scary, but the most scary is probably the one behind me," Jimenez says, referring the "Tales From The Crypt's" Crypt Keeper. "Yeah, he's pretty scary."
"I remember staying up late sneaking TV watching, TV watching him when I was a kid," says Michael Finn, of Farmingville.
The displays are photo realistic and interactive. Some move while others feel like they are about to jump out at the visitors.
Kloos says they were designed by top special effects artists from around the world.
Photos are definitely encouraged at the gallery and visitors may even gain some new knowledge about the frightening creatures.
"You can learn some trivia about the movies, maybe some facts that you didn't know," Kloos says.
