2025 sand castle contests to be held at 4 state parks on Long Island this summer

The best sculptors at each park will get prizes for several different categories.

You can test your sand castle skills at four state parks on Long Island this summer.

Jones Beach, Robert Moses, Sunken Meadow and Hither Hills will all host their own competitions.

The best sculptors at each park will get prizes for several different categories.

Check out the dates for each location and how to register below:

Jones Beach State Park: 1 Ocean Parkway, Wantagh. NY 11793 – West Games Area

June 26, July 24, and Aug. 28
Registration is held at 9:30 a.m. on the Boardwalk at West Games.
A $10 vehicle use fee will be in effect, best parking Field No. 4.

Robert Moses State Park: Robert Moses Causeway, Babylon, NY 11702 – Field No. 3

June 25, July 23, and Aug. 27.
Registration will be held at 9:30 a.m. in Field No. 3.
A $10 vehicle use fee will be in effect. Best Parking Field No. 3.

Sunken Meadow State Park: 1 Sunken Meadow Parkway, Kings Park, NY 11754 – Field No. 1

June 24, July 15, and Aug. 19.
Registration is held at 9:30 a.m. at the Main Beach Boardwalk.
A $10 vehicle use fee will be in effect. Best Parking Field No. 1

Hither Hills State Park: 164 Old Montauk Highway, Montauk, NY 11954 – Main Center Beach

June 26, July 3, July 10, July 17, July 24, July 31, Aug. 7, Aug. 14, Aug. 21, and Aug. 28.
Registration is held each Thursday 9:30 a.m. at the Visitor's Center.
A $10 vehicle use fee will be in effect.
