Sunday's storm brought wind, rain and power outages to Long Island.
Swaying trees had power authorities keeping watch on more potential power outages due to lines being knocked down from the gusty winds.
PSEG LI released a statement Sunday saying in part, "We know that reliable electric service is more important than ever for our customers. We have been closely monitoring this weather system and are ready with additional personnel to respond safely and as quickly as possible to any service interruptions."
REPORT AN OUTAGE: PSEG LI website or call 1-800-490-0075.  You can also text OUT to 773454.
Nassau County Assistant Fire Chief Marshall Michael Uttaro reminded residents not to go near downed power lines, as they could be live.
He says if you see them sparking or causing a fire, contact the local fire department and 911.
Uttaro also says those who are using a generator should make sure it's properly exhausted and that it's not in a garage or indoor space.
He recommends using LED battery-operated lights if the power goes out and not use open flame candles burning unattended or near pets or children.
