Several swastikas and hateful graffiti were found sprayed painted on Bounce Beach Montauk at 148 South Emerson Ave. in Montauk.

Authorities believe the vandalism took place between the overnight hours of Nov. 10 and the early morning hours of Nov. 11.

"The response is the same throughout the community -- this is not who we are here," says East Hampton Town Supervisor, Peter Van Scoyoc.

Detectives spent hours at the scene looking for evidence and dusting for fingerprints.

East Hampton Police, the Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Division and Suffolk County District Attorney's Office are investigating the incident.

This is the second time businesses in Montauk have been defaced by racist graffiti within the past two weeks.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact them.
