A Roosevelt man has become a regular at the Nassau County courthouse.
Getho Brevette was arrested seven times in less than 40 days, including a run-in with the law that allegedly involved throwing scissors at a police officer.
Investigators say Brevette, 27, hurled the scissors at the officer’s chest at around 1:15 a.m. Friday, while the officer was attempting to disperse a group of trespassers at Eisenhower Park.
Brevette has previously made headlines for other bizarre acts, including allegedly assaulting officers in Merrick, climbing into the driver’s seat of a police car, and robbing a woman outside of a Westbury church. He’s accused of being naked during those three incidents.
Brevette faced a judge Friday and was held on $10,000 cash bail. His next court date is Aug. 6.
