Fans of country music may not find what they are looking for if they visit two New Jersey cities.
A survey from Lawnstarter ranked 182 cities in the United States based on how they are for country music fans.
Newark and Paterson ranked very low on the list – Paterson at No. 179 and Newark at No. 180.
Nashville was ranked No. 1 and New York City was ranked as No. 2.
The survey compared over 180 of the biggest cities based on eight key factors, including the number of country music concerts, access to performance venues and the affordability of concert tickets.
It says it also gauged local interest in the genre based on Google search data, the number of country music stations and even the existence of country music museums.
