For most of his life one Suffolk County man has been chasing a checkered flag dream.
Kyle Soper started racing go-carts at 7 years old and is a third-generation driver.
Soper's father, Tom, ran street stock and charger race cars at Riverhead Raceway. His grandfather ran Freeport stadium.
Soper's ultimate dream is to be a NASCAR driver.
