Two eighth-graders used their creativity to help keep the annual St. Baldricks tradition alive.
The Merrick Avenue Middle School students got to shave their teacher Matt Chicco's head Thursday by using a hair clipper on a 6-foot pole in order to keep their social distance.
"This is something I've been doing for maybe eight years for St. Balrdick's, but this is the first year we've had to do it with a buzzer on a stick," says Chicco.
The students helped raise more than $900 for childhood cancer research.
