News 12’s Andrew Ehinger spoke to voters Tuesday from across Long Island, including:
  • Ray Ballereau, Bethpage: An 89-year-old Korean War veteran who has never missed voting in person for a presidential election.
  • Robert Mudd, 73, of Farmingdale: He chose midday to vote and avoid crowds because his wife has emphysema. He says he wasn't so sure about mail-in voting.
  • Martha Maffei, East Morchies: She wore a "Proud Immigrant Voter" mask as she waited near her polling station. She became a U.S. citizen last year after emigrating from Peru.
