‘Girls of Summer:’ A one-of-a-kind Pride celebration

A one-of-a-kind Pride celebration is getting a lot of attention this summer.
News 12 Long Island's Antoinette Biordi introduces us to "The Girls of Summer," a drag queen show hitting the road at several bars on Long Island.
With the rise of RuPaul's "Drag Race," drag queen shows are increasing in popularity.
It takes about two hours for 31-year-old Jeff Livingston to become Annie Manildoo.
Annie's friends, Bella Noche, Sassy Tempress, Ivy Stalls, Lebelle and Jasmine G. String, all put on a one-of–a-kind show for their audience.
Gay pride month is centered around uniqueness and diversity, but still coming together to celebrate.
All the performers have day jobs, but at night they say their inner selves comes out as a way to express their creativity.
"The Girls of Summer" can be seen at Bartini in Babylon on Tuesday nights through August.
