Swimming was allowed again today at Robert Moses, according to the regional director of Long Island state parks.
Swimmers at Robert Moses were kept out of the water Wednesday after park officials say a massive number of bunker fish were spotted from the Fire Island Lighthouse.
"That attracted sharks, so we did see sharks here," says Chip Gorman, regional director of New York State Parks.
Swimming was also suspended at Jones Beach for some time, but was allowed to resume on Wednesday.
