Long Island families made their way to St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre for Christmas Mass.
During Mass, Bishop Murphy talked about the Christmas spirit and the joy and happiness that go along with it.

“I just pray that that carries over. That we can move beyond the pettiness that we have in our lives today. Things that are unnecessary arguments and differences. To recognize there's so much more that unites us.”
Adults and children walking out of the service explained what Christmas meant to them.
“I like being with family and opening presents especially,” says 7-year-old Emma Glynn.
Danny Duenas, from Wisconsin, says he comes every year to be with his family.
