33ds agoA Hauppauge woman is accused of beating a duck to death near a Suffolk County pond.
The Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says 73-year-old Audrey Zabielski hit the duck with a stick-like object. It was found dead shortly after.
The SPCA says Zabielski attacked the duck in August behind The Greens condo complex in Hauppauge.
Zabielski is charged with animal cruelty.
