Police: 23-year-old man fatally shot in Freeport
The incident happened on West Seaman Avenue where News 12 has been told there had been a house party.

A 23-year-old man was shot and killed overnight in Freeport, Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder told News 12.
It happened around 2 a.m. on W. Seaman Avenue near New York and Connecticut avenues.
“It’s shocking," said resident Russell Williams said.
Roslyn ArmstrongPowell said she heard her dogs barking around 2 a.m. and thought they were barking at each other, but then she heard "loud noise."
The police commissioner said there'd been a "large" house party.
A source tells News 12 that a man has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
