A supposed code of silence about drinking is putting a Rockville Centre lacrosse team's season in jeopardy.
Rockville Centre Superintendent Dr. William Johnson said some members of South Side High School's boys lacrosse team drank vodka in a hotel room during a trip. The Cyclones traveled to San Diego, California last week for a series of games. Johnson said until all guilty parties come forward, the team may not play another game.
Despite some individuals' confessions, Johnson said more guilty players have yet to come forward. Teammates are staying quiet about who else may have been involved. Some students believe kids won't come forward because they have too much to lose if colleges find out of their involvement.
