A Shelter Island man is suing the town and its council members for allowing Beyonce to film at a historic home.
The superstar shot portions of her visual album "Black is King" at the historic Nathaniel Sylvester estate.
In the suit, Michael Gaynor claims the land is sacred because the remains of hundreds of slaves brought to the island by Sylvester in the 1600s are buried on the property.
Gaynor says the town allowed Disney to film there without getting a public permit.
News 12 reached out to the town and are waiting to hear back.
