Nassau's former Deputy County Executive Rob Walker will learn his sentence in just a matter of days, but both sides of the case want different results.
Federal prosecutors want Walker to serve four years in prison.​
According to news outlets, his defense team hopes he receives probation. 
Back in 2019, Walker pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice.
He was charged with accepting thousands of dollars and a free trip to Notre Dame from a county contractor.
