One person is hurt after a two-vehicle rollover crash in Northern Westchester.
The Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene just after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. The accident happened in the 2900 block of Springhurst Street.
When crews arrived, they found two vehicles, with one resting on its side. Fire department officials said a person was trapped inside that car and had to be extricated. Crews had to stabilize the vehicle to safely remove them.
That person was taken to a local trauma center. It’s unclear how many people were in each car or whether anyone else had minor injuries.
No word yet on what caused the crash.
