A new report by the Government Accountability Office says screening methods being used to keep all people safe while they fly may not be effective enough.
The report says the TSA lacks consistent performance measures to know if it's achieving its goals.
The TSA administrator says it will continue to work with airlines and airports to reduce stress at safety checkpoints and adjust staffing levels to properly run the agency.
