Rep. D'Esposito says new House Speaker agreed to include SALT in next tax package

All four of Long Island Republican congressmen voted for the new speaker of the House.
Rep. Anthony D'Esposito says they voted for Louisiana Rep. Mike Johnson in part because Johnson said State and Local Tax Relief, known as SALT, would be included in the next tax package.
"He made a commitment to us he would make sure as part of the tax package that comes out of the Ways and Means Committee, he would include some sort of relief for SALT," D'Esposito says.
D'Esposito says details of the agreement still need to be worked out.
