Dylan Nuccio, the 17-year-old Plainedge student who died in a crash earlier this week, loved his car, music and to MMA train, family friend Anthony DeMieri told News 12.
DeMieri said Nuccio “definitely loved his sisters very much.” He was the middle child of three.
The Nuccio family has been through the unimaginable. Dylan’s father died in 2021 of COVID. DeMieri took the teen under his wing and said he’d pick him up from school and bring him to work with him.
“He was a good kid. He was a good soul. He loved. He loved people. It’s time for this community to love everybody,” DeMieri said.
DeMieri said Dylan’s mom called him as soon as she got the news.
“There’s no words for it. Destroyed. I’m destroyed for her; I’m destroyed for his family,” he said.
The teen’s wake is on Friday and his funeral is Saturday.
