Temperatures will continue to feel chilly for the rest of the day and overnight. The winds will slowly back down, which will go a long way to help make Saturday feel better.

Expect the weekend ahead to be uneventful with temperatures slowly rising through both days. Saturday has a fair amount of sunshine coming, with some late day clouds. Sunday though will be nicer, with a mix of sun and clouds and temperatures back to normal levels. It is my pick of the week​.

For the last week of February, temperatures will trend near and above the normal high of 42 degrees, which we sorely deserve, so YES! Monday will be just as nice as Sunday with more clouds rolling in through the day. It is good enough to be a pick of the week​ for next week.

There will be a few spotty shower chances Tuesday into Wednesday from a system passing by to the north. We're keeping our eyes on a system to swing through Thursday into Friday, that may try to bring rain to snow then rain again, along with gusty winds, to the region. For now, it is something to keep our eyes on as we hope we can put Winter behind us and focus on milder and more pleasant days ahead.
