Ducks are back on Long Island’s last commercial duck farm.
The Crescent Duck Farm in Aquebogue
had to temporarily shut down after a bird flu outbreak in January.
Owner Doug Corwin says 900 12-week-old dugs are being raised
there after the quarantine was lifted last week.
If all goes well, another 1,800 ducks will be dropped off next month.
From there, the farm should be able to bring its signature ducks to market by Fall 2026.
