Protesters marched in Brooklyn to call for justice for black transgender lives.
The group, part of the Brooklyn Liberation demonstration, started their march at the Brooklyn Museum and headed toward Fort Greene Park.
Organizers included the Marsha P. Johnson Institute and the Okra Project.
They encouraged people to wear white while honoring the lives lost.
