A man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for dealing the drugs that killed a 31-year-old woman from Lake Grove.

Jaquan Casserly admitted to selling Chelsey Murray a mix of heroin and fentanyl.

Prosecutors say they could not charge Casserly with Murray's death under the current law.

The Suffolk County district attorney and Murray's parents have been pushing to change that legislation.
