Prosecutors say 28-year-old Syed Aman planned to travel to Syria and become a member of the terror group.
They say he also wanted to support ISIS with financial donations.
Aman was arrested at John F. Kennedy Airport Tuesday as he attempted to board a flight to the Middle East.
