A Lake Grove woman was found dead inside her home, and Suffolk County police are searching for her killer.

Officers responded to Win Place home at around 2 p.m. Thursday. Police have not disclosed the cause of death, but they said there was another person in the house at the time who was questioned but not arrested.

Authorities have not confirmed the woman's name, but friends and neighbors identified her as Tricia Odierna Leitgeb, a local attorney and mother. News 12 is told that her husband, Paul Leitgeb, is a retired NYPD officer.

Police say a total of two adults and five children resided in the home.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
