A Wheatley Heights man has been arrested for allegedly stealing from multiple cars across Long Island.
According to police, Andrew Berube is accused of being involved in several incidents where credit cards and other items were stolen from cars.
In some cases, the cars were reportedly damaged.
Police say the incidents happened in both Nassau and Suffolk counties during the first week of March.
Berube faces several charges, including grand larceny.
