A Nesconset man is accused of sexually abusing a teen boy and possessing child porn.
Police arrested James Sheahan at his home on Sheppard Lane on Thursday.
According to police, it was an investigation into child porn that lead police to the 19-year-old’s house.
Police say in an unrelated case, they discovered Sheahan had sexually abused the teen.
Sheahan works at a hockey equipment store in Smithtown. The store did not give News 12 Long Island a comment about the situation.
Police are now asking parents to call if they know about any other possible victims.
Sheahan was arraigned on Thursday. His bail was set at $20,000 cash.
Police are asking anyone with information about the case to call the Computer Crimes Unit at 631-852-6279.
