A 34-year-old man is dead and another injured after a violent stabbing on Westchester Avenue early Sunday.

Police say a group of individuals got into an argument that turned deadly at around 4 a.m.

The 34-year-old man was stabbed in the torso multiple times and died at Jacobi Hospital.

The other man was also stabbed in the torso, but officials say he's in stable condition and currently recovering at NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi.

One neighbor says these incidents rarely happen in this area, especially right across the street from her building.

The investigation is still ongoing.
