15h agoSuffolk police say they shut down an attempted street takeover in Ronkonkoma Saturday night.
They responded to the parking lot of Ronkonkoma train station just after 10 p.m., where they say over 40 cars were gathered and two pickup trucks were doing donuts.
Jason Merino, 24, was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
This comes after two people were arrested in connection to a chaotic car meetup in Islip earlier this month.
