Man wanted for leaving Vally Stream crash, taking driver's phone when she tried to call police

Police say the man and a 67-year-old woman collided on Sunrise Highway near Mille Road in Valley Stream Thursday afternoon.

A man is wanted for leaving the scene of a crash and stealing the other driver’s phone when she tried to call 911.

Police say the man and a 67-year-old woman collided on Sunrise Highway near Mille Road in Valley Stream Thursday afternoon.

The victim said she was going to call police and took pictures with her phone.

The suspect then pushed her to the ground, took the phone from her and drove off.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
