A kitten still has all of its nine lives due to the work of Nassau police.
The kitten was trapped in the window well of a home in Russell Gardens for two days.
Officers arrived at the house on Wensley Drive Saturday and climbed through bushes to get it.
The kitten was not injured, and is approximately four weeks old.
News 12 is told a family member of one of the rescuing officers will adopt it.
