Police say a Massapequa man has been charged with DWI after a deadly crash in Bethpage Tuesday morning.

Nassau police say John Cappello, 30, was driving south on Stewart Avenue when he crossed the double yellow line and hit a vehicle going northbound on Linden Avenue.

Police say the 74-year-old driver of the other vehicle was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Cappello has been charged with manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter, assault and driving while intoxicated
